Also known as headers, extractors are a vehicle enhancement that brings sweet rewards. Improvements include faster throttle response, lift in overall performance and will leave you with an overall better sounding system. They improve fuel economy (but you probably won’t notice as they sound so good, you’ll want to give them a bit!).
Extractors can be fitted independently as a single enhancement or combined with a replacement catalytic converter and full system. This is when they operate at their best. Extractors can also be considered as a permanent solution to vehicles where manifolds are prone to cracking (sometimes referred to a Manifold Replacements).
